shaving fender on grizz660
#3
i put 26 in 589 on my grizzly, and when i jumped it, slam!!! they hit real hard with the itp rims. what i did to solve it was pritty simple.
i took pinstriping tape and put it on my fenders exactly where i wanted to cut them. ( ended up cutting past the top screw on the floorboard and all the way up to the top curv on the fender) i used a cutoff wheel, dialed down to a much slower speed. then i traced the pinstripe cutting it right in half. got out some 320 sandpaper, and sanded her in. most people dont even know i did it. now my tires clear, and i can bottom out on jumps!!
good luck!!!

I used a coping saw to trim down my rear fenders. Very easy to keep on line, and cuts just fine. I didn't even bother taping it off though to make things even. Took maybe 3/4" off at an angle, but it still will rub with 27" Tri-claws on hard hits. Thats all I'm cutting. It can just rub.
