Black/Red is 85. Yellow/black is 86.

Tri-z's aren't worth much in my area, same goes for tecate3. Clean ones bring $600-800.

Actually the 85' is yellow/black and also Black/red. The 86' model has a 6 speed tranny and the 85 has 5 speed tranny. If you can get one in good condition for a $1000 or less, You better ****** it up FAST. These trikes are very fast and you will not regret it!

I sold my Tri-Z in Decent overall condition for $1500 and my Brother sold his MINT Original condition Tri-Z for 2200. Goog luck.

P.S. the MOST important thing is that it has good Plastic. You cannot find replacment plasstic for the Tri-Z

Tri-Z are fast machines. My brother has a modified Banshee and we are dead even from stop to top end, and that was before I send the cylinder and head for a port job. Now it will be really fast, some would say scary fast. They have a lot of toque (when compared to a 250R) and are VERY reliable. Check out mine at: http://www.prtc.net/~racerx7/ytz.htm
