My buddy has a brand new grizz, this past weekend we where out on the trail in a little bit of mud and his front right cv started clicking when in 4 wheel drive! Stopped to get a look and his boot was seperated from the hub, so is the cv broke or just lacking grease to aid in the engaging? Havent had a chance to get a good clean look at it!

It's never good to get mud, water, etc. in the CV's, but before he drops the big $$$$ on a new one, I would suggest cleaning the joint REALLY well (de-grease it as well) and filling the boot back up with a good waterproof grease. This may be all it needs and who knows, the CV could last indefinitely.
Hope this helps!
