OK, does anyone know what the recommended offset for wheels should be for an 02' Grizz. I picked up a set of 27x9-12 / 27x12-12 Blackwater XT's on ITP Delta Chrome Steel wheels. I think the offset may be like 5+2 (5 from inside, 2 from outside?) The rear's stick out very far and overall the wheels have robbed! me of some power. I am thinking of going to an aluminum rim but do now know if I can get ones with not so much offset for the rears. You get sooo dang muddy, which is great sometimes but not evertime you ride the thing. Besides that, the wife took one look at it when I got home and said, nah-ahh!! I aint riding it if it's gonna throw that much mud.

I think youre stuck with that offset in an aftermarket wheel. I have the C-Series rims with 27' 589's and boy do I get muddy now!

Try the Yamaha Overfenders, $120. I just put them on my griz with 27 inch Bi Tri Claws on it. I have stock rims but have 1.5 inch spacers coming. It looks like I will be just under the fenders with the spacers on the front and right to the edge on the rear. They give at least another 2 inches of fender coverage.
