you gotta check to see if you are getting spark, if no then something electrical is bad, could be the cdi box, on mine it was the stator.

If it is your stator, I sent mine to Ricky Stator, had it rebuilt, better than new and returned for $100.00.

Lots better than buying a new one, great service and fast.

regap your plug at about .020 and see if it runs better. It will let the weak spark work a little better. I dont think their is a fool proof way to test electronics, I guy I trusted did the gap thing on mine and then told me the stator was on its way out. So I sent it and got it fixed and it runs perfect now.

You can test everything on the quad electric ways except for the cdi box. I'm went bad on my 91 and I spent $350 on a new one. I would check every thing else first. It could be as simple as the spark plug cap could be bad. Goodluck hope it's an easy and cheap fix.

Also double check all the connection, maybe a connector is not fully connected, if you removed to engine to do the engine mods. maybe it did get reconnected all the way. Also check the ground wire. One other thing to check is the connector on the IGNITION COIL ASSY. Mine the connector came off and the quad would not start or get any spark, maybe your is just loose. If you need to see a picture of the part. Check out http://216.37.204.206/alba/Suzuki_OE...;A=35&B=14

The part number is 3.

the home site is: http://216.37.204.206/alba/Suzuki_OEM/SuzukiATV.asp
This is the microfisch on the suzuki 4-wheelers. If you need part numbers and a rough price. These are Alba's prices. Gooddluck hope this helped.
