I just got off the phone today with a friend of mine whos is a dealer and I asked him about this new sport quad Bombardier plans on putting out. He tol me that the only new quad they are putting out is a croos between a Sport and Utility. Kind of like a Rally. It will have a new motor in it though. So don't get your hopes up for a 500 or 440 from Bombardier in the near future.

AngryBajaBoy I hope your friend is talking about the Outlander which Bombardier calls a rec-utility. If Bombardier wants to be a major player in the ATV market they are going to have to make a sports quad in the 400 too 440cc class or they will never get out of last place in the market.

Did you guys see that yammy 450 utility on the main page of this site? I wonder if we could be seeing a Rapter 450 as the have the grizzly 660 after the original Raptor.

Personally I could care less about a 400ish quad, I just want to see a DS that has gone on a serious diet.

My friend also owns the Honda, Kawasaki dealership also and he said that they are going to probably stay away from the 400cc to 440cc class and that they are going to stay in the bigger cc ranges. Only because Honda and Kawasaki both have bigger CC class quads on the drawing table. So I think there main focus at Bombardier is to make sure they keep the upper hand on the big boys! Also don't hold your breath for a DS on a diet also Demon. The only way that 80 lbs. lighter myth will come true is if they sacrafice durability and Bombardier as we all know won't have anything to do with sacraficing durability. However they may try and lighten them but it is going to jack the price way up on them.

Why should bomb only make PWC's?
There sleds are by far the best, especially the new REV!
The wheelers are some of the most powerful and reliable machines out.
And they keep coming out with new technology to make all of these sports better.
So how can you say they should only make pwc's?
And why did you sell your ds? You still have not told me.
