Can you use a Qwiksilver carb with the stock intake manifold?

Since the bore is larger in the Qwiksilver I was wondering if you need to bore the stock manifold out or replace it with a larger one. What about with other carbs?

No problem with the stock manifold. But you will have to make a custom throttle cable bracket because the stock bracket will not work on the DSCustom bracket

You mean Edelbrock doesn't make their carb a direct fit bolt on? That doesn't seem like edelbrock quality that I know. How hard was the bracket to make? Can you still use the thumb throttle?

Sand45 had his stock manifold ported to match the 44mm Lectron to get rid of the step, maybe you could do the same to the Quicksilver Rockey?

It bolts up too the stock rubber boot. The QwilSilver comes in only two sizes 40mm and 42mm. They are not going to make it because there is not enough demand. I got the only one because I lent them the use my DS for R&D. The throttle bracket was made by Edelbrock. The cost for one is over $150.00. Too get the cost down they would have to order about 10,000. It will work with the thumb throttle just a little stiffer than stock. It is too bad they are not going to make it I love mine.
