a 1999 sportsman 500 and a 2002 trailblazer?? thanx

The trailblazer is between 48 and 50 mph. I'm not sure about the sportsman though.

 

A sportsman 5 tops out at 60mph on the road stock tires a sportsman 5 HO is 65mph stock tires.

 

trailblazer 55 sportsman ho 58

 

I agree...Sportsman 500 and 500HO, 55-60 range.

The Trailblazer is 55 or slower.

I have had my 99 Sportman at 61 MPH on my GPS one thing to note is my Speed odometer was way past 60 when I was doing this.

 

Wow...your Sportsman is faster than your Scrambler?

I had a '98 Sport 400 and it had no problem walking away from a buddies 2000 Magnum 500 on top end.

The Sportsman and Mag 500 are the same engines right?

the non H.O. motors were the same, and the Magnum was lighter!

on another forum one guy said "i think if i put slicks on my SP500 it would break 80mph" i laughed rather hard! another guy answered him saying take a GPS with you, cause obviously your speedo is messed up!
i agree with the second person. the fastest i went on a sp500 was 70mph (it wasn't stock, the guy also had a bayou 400 that did 68mph!!!!)

 

500 goes about 64 65ish
trailblazer goes 59 tops
