Hello everyone I am about to buy a 2002 Grizzly with a plow and I have been reading alot of the posts people have put about the floorboards being weak. Well when I went on the Yamaha web site I noticed that there is two part nos. for the 02 Griz. based on the VIN and was wondering if anyone knows if this is due to Yamaha fixing the problem or is some other reason obviosly I would like to get one that has the fix if that is the case. Any help would be great thanks

The best way to see if you are getting the right floor support is to look under the bike. The ones that bend are "two pegs that support the floor". The ones that are replacements are "one unit, two pegs with a front to back bar welded to them". Hope this helps. As far as part #'s, not really sure AND i wouldnt rely on that alone. Take a look when you go to the dealer.
