Does anyone know if a cr250 cylinder will fit on a trx 250r?

On newer CR cylinders, no. They are case reed inducted so you would have no intake on the cylinder to mount the reed cage like a TRX cylinder. Older CR cylinders may work, but would probably require some machine work either on the cylinder, the cases, or both. I know there are companies building motors with CR500 and Polaris 400 cylinders so it has to be possible and there probably is someone doing it, I just haven't seen it.

Dennis Packard of Packard Enterprises would know. He is the Honda guru. He's in Farmington, Utah. I don't know the number. This guy has tried everything to Honda's and he will be able to tell you anything and everything on them.....
