Hi MT. When I purchased my 2001 Honda Rubicon new, I searched the web for prices on this unit. The BIG Honda dealers have the best prices, although you may have to drive a couple hours or so to get there, but well worth it. I do not know who or where there is a BIG dealer in your area, but a little research can save you enough bucks to add a few nice options (winch, gun boot, Warn 424, etc.) to your unit. Use a search engine on the web for Honda Rubicon and see what comes up. Here in Michigan, the BEST price I found was from Nicholson Enterprises of Ann Arbor, Michigan. They sell ALL the major ATVs, including Honda of course. I paid $6,127.00 for my new 2001 Honda Rubicon, plus state sales tax of 6%. They advertise on their website the 2002 Honda Rubicon for $5,699.00 plus prep, freight and doc fees. Same price as my 2001 Rubicon. Adding these up, mine was $6,127.00 plus sales tax. the lack of 2wd option has dampened the drive, but when i bought my 01 new i paid $6,399 out the door

 

In June I bought an 02 for $6,100.00; that included set up, a Warn winch (2,500lb). Only extra was tax; 6.5% in MN. I shopped pretty hard and that was the best price I could find.

 

I have a friend who just bought 2 Honda Rubicons 02 models out the door he was a little over $6800 each
