my friend wants any 400 that will compare the best for my 400i cat

i have a sportsman 400, and i used to own a foreman s, and a recon. my sp400 would tear up the foreman s on and offroad, cause the sp400 in the mud had the IRS and the 4x4 not the 3x4. my next door neighbor had a kodiak and he can wear and tear on me on asphalt, but in a pulling contest i thought i yanked his axle off, cause the sp400 weighs a ton more, and the sp400 did a ton better in the mud. bunch of people say polaris sucks, but i have not had one problem with mine,besides a flat tire, and i have had it over a year and been through water up to my handlebar headlight. so my suggestion if you want brute strength and best off road go with the sportsman 400, but if you want top end speed go with the kodiak.

 

the sp400 is better in mud, but that's about it-the Kodiak beats it everywheres else. (not ride)

 

eiger 400 seems to be the best rated 400 now, but haven't ridden one

 

rincon, the kodiak i will admit is a ton faster, but my sp400 ripped it up in a towin match-literally, i thought i yanked his axle off. it pulled a lot more, but i will tell you what, that kodiak has got a fast *** engine on it, he ripped me apart on asphalt.
