I have a 2003 Yamaha Blaster and I now know that the top speed STOCK is about 55 or 60. So.. I was woundering if i put FMF SST pipes and a Power Core 2 silencer, some carbon fiber reeds, and new Maxxis Razr tires on it. What would the top speed get up to? I read about someone who did basically the same adjustments to there blaster and said it went almost 70!! I'm not so sure that that is true but I hope that I helped!

 

I dont see why anyone would want a blaster. Just get it over with and buy a banshee. For the price u paid for the 03 blaster, you could have easily gotten a 96 or newer banshee. Then you dont have to worry on how fast it goes.

Only thing that will change top SPEED is gearing and tires. PIPe and all that changes power.

 

i read in another form it goes 65 with 15t sproket in the front and toomey pipes. And i would suggest the toomey's over the fmfs and so do a lot of other people on other posts. But ya fez is right gearing and tires make the biggest difference in top speed hope you like the new blaster i wish i had the new brakes and styling
