Whenever I get up to about 65mph, The front end starts getting twitchy, then it starts bouncing back, and forth so bad that I have to stop. I only weigh 120lbs, so maybe I don't squat the suspension enough? I do some jumps, so I can't have the suspension really soft. What can I do?

Adam, get rid of those sucky front shocks and go with anybody's zps shock. That will lower the front end just a bit and get rid of some of that feeling you were describing. Plus it will make it handle way better than a Raptor!lol

ADAM! Paul HAS BEEN THERE!
fought it for a year! stg stab, new tires, new rims, was BSing with a front end guy one day <cars> and he said, 'well DS, did ya check yer toe in?'
came home . got out tape measure. front end was 3/4 of an inch toed in!!!!!
on a full size freaking truck thats too much!
so check it out////i centered my bars [takes patience] and am now about 1/16 inch toed in... completely different ride!
toed in is like pigeon toed....front of tires closer together than rear of tires. you may not notice it on dirt. when youre at speed on pavement, well its like having a car way out of alignment...samt thing only worse as our tire diameter is much smaller.
rool yer quad out now....roll,it back in.. make sure it's straight, and put the tape measure across side to side, **** to ****, on the front and back sides of the front tires! then let me know what you find! happy to help ;p

Adam, after you check the alignment......and the thing still is twitchy at high speed, get a steering damper.....I read the Denton unit is among the best for the Raptor. I have a PEP and don't like it....does'nt bolt up in the prescribed location and the bolt holes did'nt line up. A quality steering damper is a must for anyone that rides fast (JMO).

Ok, I measured the toe (I think). I measured from the middle **** of the front tires, I got 37 6/16 in on the rear of the front tires, 37in even on the top of the tires, and 37 6/16 in on the front of the tires. What next?

I think it should be just the opposite, front to back.

Ok if I'm reading this right 37 3/8" (6/16=3/8) on the front & rear you are at 0 toe. You only need to measure the front & rear not the top.
The correct toe in is listed in the factory service manual is 0~10mm (0~0.39in 0.39"=25/64" that's just over 3/8&quotso you are in spec. I run mine at 1/8" toe in.
Try cranking a little toe in into it & see how it acts.
Also check your tires to make sure they are not out of round, make sure there is no dirt or anything else on the rims that would throw them out of balance, make sure the nut on the bottom of the steering stem is tight IMO this is the likley culprit (use loc tite on it), make sure you haven't blown out 1 or both of your front shocks (look for fluid leaking out of the shaft. You shouldn't need a steering dampener to keep it from being twitchy but it's still a nice add on.
That's all I can think of.
I've had my Raptor to 79MPH with no twitchyness.
Let us know how it works out!!
