EDD,
Could you scan or retype the directions about removing the vent hoses? I have a Dynojet kit and it doesn't say anything about that. I'm wondering if I may have an earlier version. Anyway, the reason I think they may say that is to remedy a bogging problem when riding over whoops or landing hard from jumps.

Don't remove the tubes. They are not causing you any troubles.

ON the bog issue under the circumstances you mentioned, it is the cv slides dropping from the sudden impact. Mikuni told Yamaha about this problem.

I noticed this as well in my DynoJet instructions. Has anyone called them to see what this is all about?

That's strange that it mentions it in the trouble shooting guide but not the instructions? It says "not appllcable to pressurized air box models" Do they mean turbos?

Another thing I found is
"Dynojet kits are designed yo use your stock pilot jets.THIS IS A MUST!"
I know a lot of guys here have changed their pilot jets & have had problems.

I have to admit I never paid much more than a glance to the trouble shooting guide because my kit worked fine.
I'm gonna call Dynojet Tues. to see what they say about it.

Nice catch EDD!!

Hey Moose
As you mention not to change the pilot jet of the dynojet. Well on LRD dynojet kit they recommend bump up one size up on the pilot jet. I have never had a problem, It work great.

Also to let you know that Dyno jet made the kit for strictly for LRD for the pipe.
