Hmmm, this could be a tough one, both are real nice starting quads,a lot depends on what you want to do.If you like ripping around and quick acceleration,a Blaster is hard to beat,2 strokes are easy to mod for more power, and there are tons of parts out there for it. The Blaster engine has a heavier flywheel than most 2 strokes,so you can putt around without the peaky power band of an R or a Banshee. 300 ex,disc brakes, great shocks, electric start, great handling for trail and track riding.Any 4 stroke will take a lot more money to make the power of a 2 stroke, but you can putt around all day and not foul plugs or load up the motor. If you like all the bells and whistles, you can't go wrong with a 300ex,reverse comes in real handy, but if you are looking for an inexpensive, peppy little ride, and like the zip and sound of a revving 2 stroke, the Blaster is a great start,if you go with a 2003 model, you get new plastic style and disc brakes all around to boot.
