Ive got a 03 raptor thats bone stock right now. On the table is a K&N a pipe and of course, jets. Ive looked into it and it seems like ct racing makes an awesome kit for the raptor, bragging a 15 hp gain at top end. My other thought is the stage 4 pipe from trinity. i know it sounds great and is still nice and quiet. Just wondering if anybody had some input or horror stories to share. Thanks.

I got the ct set up and personnally I think it kicks a$$. The only down fall I found was when I started to modify my air box it became a real pain to tune. If you follow ct specs and mods such as no snorkel, no lid, etc. it runs pretty good. but I needed to keep the lid and snorkel as i do mostly trail riding and some mx. I cut 10 1 inch holes in the lid and I was forever trying to tune it. Finally I bought a new lid and put the jetting back to where it was before i modded the lid. It does have really good hp gains.

Power gains were HUGE!! But I also put in a Proflow K&N, took off the airbox lid, and put a dynojet kit in at the same time. Sounds really good like a four stoke should. It's not that loud when just cruising, but it really has a loud bark when you nail the throttle hard.

sandjunkie,
Which yoshi did you go with? i want to get one, but I don't know if i should go with the full system or is a slip-on enough, comp or pro. I would have the same set up as you.
