I am looking into getting a set of ITP 589's. 26x9x12 fronts and 26x12x12 on the rear. Does anyone know if I can mount these on my stock rims or will I need spaces or new rims. I am trying to avoid the extra cost right now.
Thanks, John

No, you don't need spacers or other rims.

Thanks, the guy from Rocky Mountain said they would rub in the front when I turned the wheels.

They must have hired new help.

I have 26x9-12 mudrunners on the front, and it has never rubbed.

I also have 28x8-12 mudzillas and they don't rub.

I think almost nobody here on these forums has ever had to get a spacer for the front due to rubbing, unless they put fat 28" tires on or something similar to that.

The only reasons some people get the rims with additional spacing is:
1. The like the rim and there is no other spacing choice.
2. They want more cornering stability.

I think you are a long way from having any problems with tires that small.
