I just purchased a Warn winch mount for my 300 4x4 and I can see no way that it'll fit under the front like the (poor) instructions show. Has anyone else had experience with this mounting plate?

Unless they have changed the mount in the last two years, the plate bolts to the two frame members that run up and down and not from front to back.

Looks confusing, but once you get it set in place, you can see hwere the U-bolts will hold to the frame.

If in the proper location, the winch cannot be seen from any angle outside of the ATV. It's hidden up under the front fenders.
