I have a '98 Forman 450 and recently installed a K&N air filter. I thought that the K&N power kit was expensie, so I wanted to know:

1. What is the stock Jet size?

2. What size should I up the jets to to match my K&N filter and half shot stock muffler?

Does upping the jets make the quad much harder on gas?

 

No body knows??

Well, the K&N filter was $50 and the full performance kit was $260, and at the time (about 2 years ago) I was in school and I didn't have the extra $210.

My exhaust is stock, but pretty well shot, (read: pretty loud, probably not very restrictive), so it would almost be classed as a performance muffler. (It will eventually be replaced by a White Bros. or FMF anyway)

I live at sea level, an dwould like to know if I should up the jets or leave it alone.

I was just curious about the gas milage, not exactly a big concern for me!!

 

HOW DOES IT IDLE WHEN YOU SHIFT IT INTO GEAR DOES IT JUMP..........
WHEN SOMEONE IS BEHIND YOU DO THEY SAY IT SMELL RICH OR NO CHANGE.........
DO YOU STILL HAVE THE INFO OF YOU POWER-UP.........IN IT SHOULD GIVE YOU 3 TO CHOOSE
