Hey everyone im looking at an 01 400ex. It has a full lrd complete system, jetting, uni air, full skids, nerfs with the alloy kickers, ac front bumper, all new razr's with 2 rides on all of them, they are on douglas .190 rims. Has renthal handlebars. Comes with all of the stock stuff original tires, handlebars, and pipe. It also comes with a starlight trailer with a ramp at the end 4 1/2 feet by 11 ft. I talked the guy down and i can get it for $4500. To me it sounds like a great deal for an 01 and the trailer. The mods dont add to much money but a little bit. Overall i think its a good price what does everyone else think thanks

 

Hey man!! 4500 in my opinion i would not go for it at all!! 3800 would be good, with all these new quads commin out the price goes down. You can get a 03 for 4800 new!. But wise choice on getting the 400 ex very well made machine.

 

Wheelin for life where can u get an 03 for 4800 not around here in jersey. And i just found out this afternoon that this past week some law was passed for all atvs and dirtbikers that are caught on private property or roads on 1st offense will pay $500 bucks plus a 48 hour impound minimum. a 2nd offfense will be $750 plus a 72 hours impound minimum. For me i am only 15 and i cannot afford this so i cant take the chance. i hate to say it but i am giving up riding for now. Maybe when i get my license i will start riding again where i can drive to legal places i can get too. Thanks for your reply though

 

Hey CrazySpeed. I say after coming off a Cr, its going to make that EX look like a slow hunk o crap. Maybe look around for a nice Banshee, I couldnt see myself riding anything but a 2 stroke. Assuming u had either a Cr125 or 250, nothing is going to compare with the 250 speed wise except maybe for a Shee. Get your self a nice 98-02 banshee with pipes and some small motor work, and now you got your self a quad.

CrazySpeed8, I like your choice of quads, but that's a little too much $ for a 2 year old even with a little trailer. I sold this guy in Kansas my last 3 400EX's for an avarage of 3300 each stock just last week{just a little cheap but he bought all of them}. He also bought my few month old Z400 for $5000. You can pick them up in green also now for a little over $5ooo brand new {'03}. So 4500 is too close to a brand new quad.

 

I will get them for you whenever you want them. i can get a 2001 right now for 3400 in mint con. And at my dealer he gave me a price at 4800 out the door with a 03.

 

4800 otd? Do they even sell the 300ex then? So what your sayin its like 4200 or so then the taxes and all the other BS? I think you are fulla it.

 

I call BS on that. The best prices you'll see on an '03 400EX is 5500-5600 out the door.

 

You people are getting ripped then 4800 was i got quoted, the z has brought down there sales alot! I hear people even getting it less in the southern states.

 

Real strange that you can get a 2003 400ex for 4800 OTD??

DI [Dealer invoice]is 4942 on the 03.You add taxes/title to the 4942 and it is NO WHERE near 4800 Out the door?All Honda dealerships pay the SAME dealer invoice.Maybe just a tad of BS here??
