I just read the parts bulletin about the new headlightcovers.Read it carefully and you will notice they are talking about not only the headlight change but a new mainframe.
I bet this is the frame I saw when I was at the factory this spring
it has a billet bottom frame section in the front.Remember the talk about the dales losing 15lbs.I bet we see something like that now.

ya, a new generation of frame is coming, but it's not billet as the prototype that you may have seen, it'll have quite a few more cast pieces in it to help lessen the cost of both welding and parts in general without reducing quality. It'll be good!

So is Cannondale switching over to the CF casting process similar to what Yamaha is using on their R1 and R6 streetbikes? I know that Suzuki also has a similar process. I wouldn't be surprised if Honda has some new casting technology up their sleeves also.
