I am a former 1995 300 Bayou 4X4 owner. It was and stll is a great quad. As you will see at the bottom of this message, I now own a Yamaha Kodiak 4X4. The 2 Kaw dealers closest to me now are 30+ miles from me so I went with the Yami and am surprisingly happy. I know Kaws are built tough.
I want to settle a bull**** session with some of my co-workers. I need a Kawi Prarie 400 4X4 owner to tell me the top speed of a stock unit.

 

I also would like to know how fast they go. My old '86 Big Red three wheeler was a little bit faster on top end on pavement than a '99 4x4 Prarie 400 and I have never gotten the chance to see how fast my old beast will go! I like the Praries though, they're nice machines.

 

i sell kawasaki quads. the top speed that have gotten from my custmoers is 57mph. that is stock on a flat road. i hope you settle your bet. D.J.
