ims gas tanks

im thinking about going with a ims tank now that i runing methanol, should i have to get a new steering stem and tank cover for it, i have some msr bars that rub on the stock tank cover a little,

You dont need a tank cover with the ims tank, thats where it gets the aded capacity, so you also need a bar clamp

The alcohol will eat the gas cap rubber washer on the IMS tank....then it will fall into the tank...I seen it happen to(AZSAND)
Maybe check with AZ to see what he did to resolve this..

Frist i already have fatty bars so my bars do not hit my tank and you have to remove your gas cap gasket every time your done riding the alcahol destroys it i just fub a little oil on it from time to time to counter the effect of the alcahol.the tank dose not need a cover it looks awesome already!
