Just added one of the clear Purolator fuel filters with the changeable elements to my Cat. A friend of mine said that the filter mesh is too large to trap the small particles that are often present in gasoline. He recommended that I go with a paper filter instead. Do any of you have experience with the Purolator filter, or comments on the paper filter? Why a vehicle that is designed to run in very dusty conditions would come from the factory without a fuel filter is beyond me. I thought not having one would be asking for carb trouble. What do you all think?
