Hello, Took my New 03' Mossy Oak Sportsman 500 HO for a quick drive through the yard and when I pulled in the garage there was a funny smell like the new engine smell and there was some smoke comin up from the area near the rear of the seat??
Is this just the new protective coating on the engine somewhere? No leaks anywhere, checked for that.

Normal. Lots of things have a coating on it and it is just getting hot enough to burn the stuff off. Ride ON!

I would take a look and make sure nothing is against the exhaust pipe, but its sounds pretty normal to me.
