I recently got the April Issue with the 300EX vs. the Scrambler 2wd.

I thought the article was very well done for once.

maybe it was because they said a few things i agreed with.

Struts on a Sport? and the weight!

They did have one thing i didn't agree with. AUTO on the sport. i think autos are fun on sport quads. If polaris made a good FULL sport with an auto on it. i think it would be even better!

They even said good things about the ATV

And it did have faster track time(it being the 400SCR)

If i would of been writing the article i would of picked the Honda over the polaris too.!

Well i'm done. And please don't start a fight, i just posted this to point out things.

 

The title doesn't make sense. Honda Vs. 300EX in ATV Action??? Just messing with you. It was a good artical.

I had a different title..and didn't edit it right.

I enjoyed the article, and the whole magazine! for once it wasn't totally Honda!

That CT440EX was great! And those damn spy photos had me drooling..the 750 Banshee! 1200 grizzly!

 

The magazines come out early here. So, i've had the chance to read over the artical a few time while I was on the Throne. After reading it a few times, it doesn't look much different than what's in the toilet when I'm done.

Although they did give the 400 some good marks, the ending just doesn't make sense to me. It's kind of an oxymoron. In my world, when a sport quad wins in every segment but handling...IT WINS BY MAJORITY! And when it wins a dragrace and a track race (2 of 3 w/3 different riders) IT WINS AGAIN!!

But hey, who am I to say that a magazine has to be democratic right?

 

If you read down the chart where they rate each individual thing with 1 - 5 stars. It's pretty easy too see why the EX won the shoot-out.

I agree with Duster, it was like the 400 wins almost all the competitions but they made it sound iferior to the 300. Ive always thought the mags were a little partial to hondas anyway.

 

Think about the poor guy who reads the Dirtwheel's shoot out betweem the Rancher and Wolverine and buys the Rancher and thinks his brand new quad it broke because not only can't he REEL in a Wolverine they pass him like he is standing still, than he reefers back his book to see if he missed something somewhere.

My sentiments EXACTLY!!! Sad story but true. I just don't see the point in all the lies. I guess lies is where the money is at for these publishers. It sad to think of the missleading sales this creates and the unhappy buyers.

 

Well, maybe we'll see better reviews in the magazines now that Polaris is BUYING MORE ADVERTISING SPACE.... When they spend as much as Honda spends, I'm CERTAIN that Polaris will start getting better press....
