Hey guys, I need to know of a new high performance quad that is very comaprable to the YZ250F dirtbike in power and torque. What do you guys think? Raptor, Z400, Banshee, maybe the new Predator? I was thinking of getting a Zilla but I don't know if I want one of them anymore, and I know they would kill the 250 in the power department. It doesn't matter whether it's a 2-stroke (Banshee) or 4-stroke. I just want something that is even or can beat the YZ250F in power and torque.

 

raptor would kill a yzf250 and a modded shee the predator sounds liek it would but its a pilearis and it hasnt been out 2 long

 

The YZ250F in stock trim has 30 Horsepower but the weight difference may be hard to over come. I have watched a stock new YZ250 2 stroke run a 9.44 in the 1/8 mile and a stock Cannondale Cannibal run 9.47 right beside it though.

 

Ds650, raptor, zilla, shee, c-dale, maybe z400, take a pick, but i do agree that the weight would be hard to overcome...

 

I have narrowed it down. I will either get the Raptor (no one sells Bombardier around here that I know of otherwise i would look at them too) and the Predator, have tosee on the Predator though. What do you guys think about a slip-on piped and filtered Raptor? How would that do against the 250F? I will have to see about the reliabiliy of the Predator, also does anyone know how much they cost? Also just to clarify, Iam comparing the YZ250F four-stroke if anyone was thinking of the 250 2-stroke

 

i'm going to trade in my raptor for a yz250f,no is not faster than a raptor,but if you are going to mx or trail riding the yz is better

 

I suggest a banshee if your going to be riding in the same places as a yz250f. Raptor is alright but just not as much potential and its kinda tippy.
