Whats up ya'll, I just joined the site and I am looking forward to talking 4wheelers with everyone. with that said, I was wondering if anyone has made their own mount for their winch. I wasn't planning on buying a winch, but I found a brand new Superwinch T1500 for $125 so I couldn't resist. Anyway, I wanted to look into making my own winch plate instead of spending another $70 to buy one. If anyone has made one, is there any plans out there that lay-out the construction of one, or did ya'll just make it on your own? Thanks for any info.

2002 Rancher 4x4 ES

 

I have made several and installed them. The Rancher is a really simple one to do. I make all my mounts out of 1/4 inch flat aluminum stock. If you want, I have a pretty good picture I can email to you of the last one I did. Send me a PM with your email if you want it!
