The MRP has open channel racks for various attachments. The regular does not. The MRP
auto will run about $70.00 more according to my dealer.

I am guessing that's $70 more NOT counting the cost of the optional attachments.

I looked at the MRP at the local cat dealer and am certain you can convert from the standard racks to the MRP ones.

I really don't see the need for the MRP. I think a Polaris type plastic rack would be better to have IMO. Just what I need more parts and pieces to break or lose; besides how often is a person going to need a Coleman stove on their ATV?

I dunno - that chain saw clamp looks real nice, I've strapped saws down with bungee cords, and they always seem to shake loose, and scratch up everything they can get near. Same with the extra headlights, and deep baskets, handy things to have. Some of the attachments are silly, but some make real sense, especially if you use a quad for farm work. I'm mulling over a retrofit, if my dealer will ever give me a price...

I've seen chain saw clamps somewhere before... Don't no if you've ever come a cross them but it might be worth snooping around for (almost want to say cycle country had them). I do see the point of the lights and deep baskets, it just hard for me to justify the extra money since 98% of the time my Cat is a play toy.
