DS stock carb on a Z ??? Help PLease !!!

Could any one tell me if you think this will work and what to look out for. A friend of mine posted this question on the Suzuki forum and has had no replies !!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] Please help soon, we want to try this tomorrow evening !!! Any and all advice is greatly appreciated !!!

Well it may be that you are the "ginnie Pig" in this matter. But my brother is getting a 440 kit in his 400ex along with some headwork, and I plan on trying this out on it before he buys a carb for it.

I agree with Bartlett on this one. Unless you have maaaaaajor work done to the Z you will lose all bottom end and probably plenty on top as well.
They are the same type of carb and the DS carb should fit with very little (maybe swap the throttle housings) work but getting it to run will be a practice in futility.
