I have a 03 500 mrp. I got it back in Sept and I find the front shocks too soft because the front end dives really bad when you hit the brakes hard, thats with the Springs set up to the 4th notch.. Here is what happened to me -we were chasing cattle and I was going about 20 mph when the other guy on his Honda turned in front of me so I hit the brakes hard and it skidded a little but the nose went down so far and I flew off the front and the back of the ATV came up and over and it landed on me. the crappy part was I landed on a peice of debris and it stabed through my elbow and cut a nerve so I couldn't use some of my fingers..But I didn't hit the other guy ,but I am worried if I have to stop in a hurry again the same thing will happen..Another thing when I bought my 500 another guy bought one the same day at the same dealer and he took his hunting in Northern Ontario and he was driving along and a Truck pulled in front of him and he did the same thing...So I was wondering if there are better front shocks??? Like some gas shocks ??please help if anyone knows of some better shocks... the dealer told me to write a letter to Arctic Cat and tell AC what happened and they would send the letter to AC...Thanks
