Default dripping oil on 350

hey guys the wifes 2001 350 es is dripping oil down from under the gas tank. Seems to come down fuel shut off and drips on exhaust. Didn't get a chance to check it out, must be a vent line up there somewhere i see they all run in that direction. Checked oil , level is ok. ? any idea's out there.
Thanks Raymond

Check the oil level in the rear end as I think that is your problem. If the oil level in the rear axle is over full, the excess oil will be forced up the breather tube and come out underneath the gas tank. One would think it is engine oil but not so. Draining the oil down to the proper level will eliminate the problem. I know because I over-filled my Rancher gearbox a little bit and ended up with oil blowing out all over the engine on the left side.
