very fast polaris

is there anyone who wants or knows someone who wants or knows how much i should ask for my polaris??
it is a 98' sport, bored to a like 440, 42mmflatside,HPD pipe,new jug and coolhead, K&N filter(with extra thathasnt been outs the box yet) lightened flywheel for race, realtor tires in back(good shape), new sprockets,chain,all around brakes, grips, great suspension, some sort of race suspension,all new bearings and stuff, done by a dealer,race piston of course,new belt(extra new belt), new rack if needed, new clutches,high tension clutch kit,(beats all manuals off line), delta V-force reeds, race porting,im sure there is more but i cant think of em right now. please respond

Heavily modded usually means heavily ridden/raced. Most people want a stock quad when buying a used one. I see Sports/Scramblers of the same year, advertised as "like new" from anywhere between $1800-$2400 here in Ohio. With all of the models available today, for very reasonable prices, you'll be lucky to get anything over those prices.

Heavily modded doesnt always mean run down either. Actually things are watched extemely close and maintained at least in my case. If ANYTHING starts showing signs of wear on mine it gets replaced. You have to pay to play one way or another. I have to agree though on the price. You will be lucky to get much over book value even if it's in great shape. You tend to lose on these machines when modding them, so I will just keep mine and buy something else as well.

In most cases the Mods do not help you get more cash, May help to push over a sell, but thats it.
I believe that history has shown that you are FAR better off to SAVE your stock parts, put as many of them as you can back on, and sell.
Then sell your Mods, You can figure you aftermarket parts, In good shape, Fair Market Value can be worth about 1/2 of what they were new. This is the only way to recuperate some of the money.
Of course this is bad for the seller, Good for the buyer, I bought my 99 Scrambler 4x4 with the complete AAEN 440 big bore,reeds, 42mm carb, (Extra paddle tires,parts, tools etc,etc) for $2600.
It was in good shape, I am kind of particular, Some may say I stole it at that price, I feel I got a fair deal.
Now my 2000 I feel I got a good deal on, (3899.00) NEW off the Dealers show room floor.
