I have installed a K&N power up kit along with a second intake snorkle to my Foreman 450, now I want to add an aftermarket exhaust. I don't want anything loud as I am trying to tread lightly, what is the best FMF MegaMax II with quite core and spark arrestor, White Bros E series S-Bend, or any other that you guy's can recomend.

 

We have used the older round supertrapp and the IDSX one. They did not make any real differance for the money. The Cobra Utility works about the same. The Cobra is around $145.00 w/spark arrestor. If you want to put one on go with the Cobra it is the best price.

 

03foreman, I noticed you lived in NH. Me too, I used to live in Raymond and have recently I moved to Manchester. When I moved, I had to sell the love of my life (my 2001 Rancher) because I needed the money. Anyway, I hope to land a better job by spring and hope to have enough money to purchase the new Rancher400AT. How well did the K&N power kit increase your performance on your Foreman? Just wondering because when it comes time for me to buy another Honda I might consider the K&N power kit.

P.S I hope you got out for a ride this past weekend, because it was nice (45-50 degrees around Manchester). I know if I still had my Rancher I would have been out riding both Saturday and Sunday.

 

The K&N kit did make a noticable difference,. much better throttle response, the reason I went with the kit instead of just buying jets is I did not feel like taking this thing apart 5 time to get the jetting correct, with the K&N kit they did all that work for me I just follwed the instructions

03foreman- Check out mbrp on this site. They make a slip-on for your machine. They use wave technology. I know on a full raptor is is not nearly as loud as the rest of the aftermrket systems. Give them a call
