Just in case anyone is looking for a pipe...

Got to say, the put the HPD trail pipe and clutch kit on my scrambler this last weekend....it is sweet. It fit perfectly...and i mean PERFECTLY. It even comes with jets for the carb...

Honestly, out of all the pipes for quads that I have bought this sucker fits and works the best yet. As I said in my previous message, I wasnt too happy with the HPD split brake kit...however I am VERY pleased with the pipe and the Clutch kit I bought from them.

What model Scrambler did you put it on? I have had an HPD pipe and clutch kit on backorder for 2 weeks now for my 99 Scrambler 500. I hope it's worth the wait.

John, have you noticed the heat that the HPD pipe puts out around your right leg? It's not bad with full riding gear, but in the 100* summer heat, we wear shorts on the dunes. Let me tell you that pipe gets HOT even though it is behind the plastic shield. That was my only complaint with the HPD pipe.

i also just installed a hpd pipe and aggresive clutch kit on my 99 sport and just got back from a local hill shooting race and won the 400-500cc automatic class the rest of the bike is stock, while i was just playin on the hill afterwords i raced 5 or 6 400ex's and only one beat me after i got wild in the whoops man isnt that 400ex over rated even a slow a@# polaris with a automatic and a 240# rider can put the whoopin on it. sorry honda guys but god knows you talk alot of crap about polaris and before you start crying about mx tracks i dont care because i dont ride mx i play in the dunes and after this weekend i learned one thing the 400ex has nothing over the 400L in the dunes. man cant wait for the v-force reeds,440cc kit, hpd head, 39mm carb, hpd porting,ect....... just for the record i raced maybe 6 or 7 banshees and got spanked by them all damn them banshees are fast,2 STROKES RULE!

I also Have the trail pipe and I love it. The best all-around pipe ever made for a Polaris!!

I don't know what you're talking about, but my Trail pipe runs considerably cooler than the stocker. Maybe yours is jetted wrong?
