Just buying 2 atv's for my son and myself. Honda's 350's. I have a big question to ask everyone who can help us.. Electronic shift or manual shift. Does anyone know the best to get or do you know the pro's and con's about them so i do not make a bad choice on them.
Please help lots of money for a bad choice if you no what i mean.. thanks if you can help
PS- Been motocrossing for 4 years so no big deal for shifting gears but still need to make the right choice.

i'd stick with the manual shift myself, i prefer them, and less to go wrong on ya.
but, i do see lots of ES quads on the trail....so...i you want yer son to get used to shifting, then manual.. if it doesnt matter, then ES.

My girlfriends father had a 2002 Honda 350es (electric shift), It was stolen 2 months after he bought it . While he had it he said that it was convenient for him to use, compared to his '86 fourtrax. I haven't read of very many people having problems with the electric shift. I prefer the feeling of using a manual, that way I always have my left hand free to use the break and I feel more in control of the bike.
In case you would rather an automatic the Honda 2004 Rancher AT is an automatic.
