My guess would be the Blazer in a straight line and probably about equal on a track.

I raced a Blaster with my Trailblazer with a RCR kit, and aluminum wheels

I beat him no problem in every race we did. I was a few quad lenghts in front of him and he wasn't gaining at all.

We even switched off, and raced a few. The TB still won. Expect a lot more, since i'm 6'0 200 pounds and don't run a clutch alot.

On a oval MX track, he kept getting in front of me on the turns but as soon as we hit the straights and the jumps i was gone. Then he would be past me or almost on the turns and i'd be gone again.

The Blaster was a 99 with a few mods.

Blaster on the track and pretty close when it comes to drag racing and only because it would be hard to keep the front wheels on the Blaster down

I love it. The guys with Blazer in their mane say the Blazer will win. The guys with Blaster in their name say the Blaster will win. Coincidence?

All kidding aside now. I think a modified Blazer will win both track and drag against a stock Blaster. But I do think the guy on the Blazer will be more sore after a track race because of the Blazers weight.
Now if we were talking stock VS stock or modified VS modified, the stories would be different. It would be a tough call.

I have owned a blaster w/ FMF ram valve and pipe and my wifes TB 250 w/ hpd pipe clutch kit , alum rims with holeshots would spank the blaster like a redheaded step child, in top speed, hill shooting,or mx and the blaster use to beat me death it road so ruff + the blaster was no brakes

I agree with you about Polaris quads wearing people out. I think the people who complain are a bunch of damn wimps! Polaris should put a warning on their quads. "Don't buy this heavy-*** quad unless your ***** have dropped. Otherwise buy a Honda."

I`ve seen a stock trailblazer race a stock blaster on a 1/4 mile stretch. The blazer won, but I think that if they raced a shorter distance the blaster might be able to win. On a Mx track i think that the blaster would win because it is so much lighter.
