does a steering stablizer make it harder to steer?

Not much, when you are sitting still it is easy to tell that it is installed however once the bike is moving it becomes an awesome tool. The resistance that it creates far outweighs the alternative to fighting every bump in the road...one of the best mods I made to my bike

If your stopped you'll notice more resistance, but more or less goes away when moving. Like said previously, you will really appreciate the absence of bars being jolted when you hit an object at speed.

I have put a bunch of different dampers on a bunch of different bikes over the years. You know what, I always ended up taking them off after about 6 months, and I never missed any of them!!! They are all in a pile on a shelf in my garage! I would like to try the GPR though.

A steering stabilizer is a great mod for MX, but a little less important on trails. They can get very hard to steer with if you have one bent, blown out or binding. I had one bend on me and it made that race a living hell.

I put one on my 250x and loved it. I ride a lot of dirt, gravel and logging roads and it was awesome.
Reconranger, do you happen to have one laying around that will fit a banshee?
