Default Is the raptor a good trail/woods quad?

just wondering cause im purchasing a quad very soon and im getting mixed opinions. I may be trying mx but i do mainly high speed trail riding, fire roads, etc. Is this the ultimate ride for this application? thanks

The Raptor (stock) is a bit narrower than all of the competition. I enjoy being able to sail thru the tight stuff with mine.

Raptor would be a great choice for the riding you speak of.

mine is set up specifically for woods trails , fireroads, and light desert [wide open spaces]. i put the xct 6 ply tires on it for ground clearance and puncture resistance. it makes it handle very differently, and man is it a ball.
like the car guys say " there's no replacement for displacement"

have fun with your choice.
you can see mine in the gallery under my name.

I would think it was made more for woods/trails than mx so it should be good.
