Bent rim, need new wheels Scramler 400 4x4
#1
Anyone now the best rims, dealers, & prices for 2002 400 Scrambler. What about ITP T9-Pro Series. Should I stay w/stock rim sizes? My tires are in new shape but I would be willing to get tire/rims setup if there is an advantage. Thanx, Bill.

I tore up the crappy Polaris stock rims on my Scrambler. I replaced them with Holeshot XCT's mounted on Douglas 190 rims. I paid around 450.00 for them. For my style of riding and where I ride, they were perfect. They make a great trail tire, ok in mud, climbs steep rock hills pretty good. I never had any more problems with dents in those 190's. The stiff wall of the XCT's helped that out.
You really shouldn't need to go to a bigger tire/rim combo. I had plenty of clearance with mine. I got mine at Carbides Motor sports in Michigan. Try Rocky mountain atv, Eastern Kentucky motor sports. Even try Ebay.
Hope this helps

I am in need of the front rim, but I would be interested in the rears for backup. Are they the grey/silver painted aluminum ones or are they steel? (I need the aluminum ones). The came on my Scrambler X 400 4x4. I live NW suburbs of chicago. Thanx
