Does anyone know if it is possible to put a yz 250 motor in a blaster ,l know anything is possible but , i'd like to know maybe just how much work is needed .... I got all the tools to make it happen but , i don't wanna get myself in a super big project seeing how this is my b.s. bike .... Also does anyone know if a banshee swingarm would fit on a blaster with out major mods. and is the banshee swing arm longer then the stock blaster swingarm ? Thanks in advancs for any info ... Drew

Your very right about anything being possible...If you have all the motor, elct's,rad basically everything ready to go...You can finish it very quickly and have a prototype...That can be trimmed and cleaned up after a few runs & test...The fit for that motor will not be hard at all, but you will need to make some
motor mounts...That will have like rubber bushing in them...We just got through putting a QZILLA 500
motor in my old blaster frame, pretty tight fit.. But it works very good, it took about 2 weeks to do it...
Not bad...But not much to look at right now though...I'm fixin to order my FTZ custom drag pipe this week..
Then we should be really rolling good..."Sorry for the book"

I was thinking on doing the same thing. I came across a very nice YZ250 Engine sitting at the dump and was thinking on obtaining a blaster chassis and trying to make it work. I think the hard part would be getting the 250 pipe to work in the small blaster engine compartment. The YZ250 Engine i have does have a powervalve so if it could be pulled off it would be a sweet little playtoy.

you can fit a yz motor but a lot of work is needed.you can fit a dt200ypvs which will drop in,this will give you 14bhp more.you have to use the rads of a atc250r.there is one mod you have to do the washers each side of the swing arm bolt have to be drilled out to5/8".

you can also use the swing-arm off an old tri-z. their only 1/8" wider and you can shave 1/16 off of both sides. and that way you can use that shock and it's way better than they stock set-up off the blaster. besides the old tri-z has the 250 in it and the design would fit better.
