SP700 Custom Multi Mount w/Warn 3.0ci Winch
#2
Look's great. I wish I had built a front mount insead of using the Montana Jacks mount. I ended up cutting out a pipe and moving it but I had to put in a new pipe anyway after hitting a tree stump.
I just put in a Heelclicker kit. What sping and weight set-up do you use?

When you say moved a pipe, are you talking about part of the frame?
My Heelclicker is great. I am about 300' above see level, and I'm running 1.2, 4.3, 4.3. Seems to work great!

The pipe I'm refering to is the large cross pipe on the brush gaurd. I hit a tree stump in some weeds and caved it in pretty bad. If I wouldn't have had the brush gaurd I would have at the least broke my bumper. I cut it out and was goning to move it up higher on the brush gaurd to clear the Montana Jack's front receiver. I don't have it welded in yet so tonight I started to make a mount like the one you made.
I'm running the same weight set up as you with the orange spring. I seems to have cured my belt sliping problem I was having.

MedicDave,
Yeah, that brushguard is a brute!
My belt slipping problems seem to be gone for the most part. I can still get it to slip if I'm up against a log, or rock in high range and give it the throttle. But for the most part, just power to the ground!
I am running the stock primary spring, and the supplied secondary spring. I was looking for lower engagement, and the stock primary spring gave that to me.
Let me know how your mount comes out. YOu can reach me at frankstr@snowcrest.net.
