Default Predator set-ups

I hope this hasn't been done already ...But I scanned a few pages back and didn't see anything so here goes...What set up are you currently running? what elevation or where do you live, what kind of riding do you do and how is it working for you?

I'll go first.....

160 Main 3rd clip pos.
stock 14/37 gearing
WB slip on ( No head pipe yet)
K&N Air Filter
PRM cooler rack
Sand Skate II Rear
22" Dune Trackers front
No airbox mods at this time

I ride in Sand Dunes ( Glamis Ca. ) Sea Level

Set up is OK but still getting a little poppinig on heavy acceleration up hill.
I believe I need to lower the gears but don't know how far I can go without hitting the R limiter to quick.
Most awesome Duning vehicle I have ever ridden ...And I have ridden almost everything. ( never rode a Cdale Moto)

Sand on the brain....it's a good thing. Those that haven't experienced it, don't understand.

can you be more specific on the poping? like under power during acceleration, decelleration, what gear at mid -low-high RPMs. i am very interested in this.

Yep thats it .....
poppinig on heavy acceleration up hill as in while racing up a hill .
I start out in first rev out almost to the limiter no poping....
hit second as I'm going thru the whoops as I approach limiter level it pops if I hit third it bogs
Now it sounds worse than it actually is ( The way i explain it )
a subtle easing off the throtle will bring back the power and second pulls the hill pretty strong.
I hope that makes sense. My goal in posting this topic was to see what setups worked for others.....
and thereby get a feel for were I need to adjust my jetting..... Airbox? Needle? Main?

Hey TRES, my TLD is bone stock, but I am wondering about the PRM cooler rack. Is it a good quality piece? I am using a Graydon Proline on my Raptor but kind of want something a little different. I like the way it sits up higher than the Graydon. Any Thoughts? Am waiting for Graydons Nerfs so may get it all from them, but do like the PRM bumpers. Check out the PRM rad shrouds on their Web Site. Also are you happy with the W/B slip-on?

Slip on is great.. A must have
PRM Grab bar should be here any day I'll post what I think of it when it gets here.
My friend has one on his 250R Quad that is identicle looking which is why I ordered it.
That and I couldn't find anyone else that made them for the Pred.

I didn't see any pred parts on the Graydon site.
