does any one know of an aftermarket complete exaust system for the predator

How much do you think the head pipe will add?
I already have the WB e-series arrester. ( and I was at FSW and didn't see any other preds but mine, although I know there was at least one other there, just didn't see it )

I just posted this same topic and there is little available at this time. I wanted more then just a slip on muffler so I began looking elsewhere. I did know however that the White Bro's Slip-on Polaris sells is a real nice pipe, and after I removed the stock heat shields, and took a look at the 2 into 1 header thats on the Pred. It really is a nice piece. Performance wise, I don't believe your going to get much better, besides the materail and finish. So I went ahead and ordered the White Bro's Slip on and I just box up and shipped out my header pipe and front heat shield to Jet Hot Coatings in AZ for the Sterling Ceramic coating, inside and out. I thing this will be a pretty awesome set up. Thanks for everyones info, and keep you informed,

The Polaris/WB slip on is suppose to add 6hp in the lower rpm range

The Polaris/WB headpipe is suppose to add 3hp in the lower rpm range

Complete it adds up to 9hp and 6-7 more pounds of torque.

It doesn't hurt the top of the rpm range either compared to stock.

 

I can't speak highly enough of the Jet-Hot powder coating for exhaust systems, whether on the stock head pipe, or performance aftermarket.

My stock Predator head pipe is starting to rust in spot already (from rock hits or?) and before it gets too mucked up, I may send it out for a Jet Hot coating......look at my website as I'd done that on my 400cc stroker Warrior, and it held up great for years and didn't get baked on mud stains, rust, or bake off and peel either....

good stuff, and only about $65 to coat your head pipe if I remember right.

 

Good call Dave, and once it's on.....it doesn't come off. Also on the wing dingers (2-strokes) retaining that heat creates more HP. Kinda seems like a win, win modification.

Where's the HPD Predator pipe? I heard dyno rumors late last fall..... I heard chroming rumors last fall.... Where's da pipe?

 

All this talk about coatings on the header and pipes & stuff reminds me of a question I had. I just got my new Pred two days ago. After the first day of riding i noticed the paint on the header pipes bubbling and flaking off. Today it seems to be getting worse. This happen to anyone else? I think I am planning on taking them off, wire brushing the bubbling areas and applying high-temp paint.(like black grill paint) Anybody have any suggestions?
