does anyone have a new vinson 5 speed that growls? mine growls and it sounds like tire noise but it's not. i thought it might go away after a while, after some break-in time. it has about 100 miles on it. i jacked up the backend and went through the gears. it sounds like the rear diff gears. i need to find out what this is, it's really bothering me.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

my rear plastic vibrates sometimes. when it does it sounds like a growl. its at the very back of the fender

 

The gears are straight cut, thats why it makes that howling noise. Eiger does it as well. Sounds like a manual shift automobile in reverse.
