Default Front sprcket went.

This weekend I stripped all the teeth on the front sprocket in a drag race. Now I’ve got an oil leak. Does the seal on the inside of the sprocket usually go out when this happens? I'm worried I've done major damage after seeing the oil leak. Any help would be great.

Well what ever you did, doesn't sound good. It could have cracked the case

The o-ring that seals the sprocket shaft might have been pinched or torn. It is a common problem..Ive seen it happen many times. Luckily if it is the o-ring, it's a very easy fix. If you cracked the bearing, which I doubt you did..you would have to split the cases to replace that. Take off your sprocket and check it out. I'd say you just messed up the o-ring.
