I just found out from a parts dealer that the FMF gnarly pipe is the same as the old fatty woods pipe. If you don't think I am right take a look at fmfracing.com and try to find the fatty woods pipes. There is no info on them any more! What a cheap marketing ploy!

Actually the Fatty pipe is the old woods pipe with some updates. The gnarly pipe is probably the same as the old design but made with thicker guage metal. Now on the new and better stuff... Anyone thinking about getting the new FMF SST pipes and silencers? If I was looking for a new set of pipes I'd get them. I'm interested in finding out home much more power they make compaired to the Fattys.

I run the FMF gold series woods....on my 96 banshee....I like them alot....I feel that they pull hard on the bottom and rev out fairly well too. I have not had a problem with top end . none of my freinds have the woods...they all went for the torque version.....though I keep up just fine

I tried to sell my gold series pipes....But nobody would believe me that they were woods pipes...they are in good shape....I just want to try the new ones out....first $175...takes the pipes and silencers.
