Does anyone else burn there legs on aftermarket pipes? (yes, I do wear race pants and race boots)I have a Dynoport 2 into 1. When I go into a right hand turn my leg hits the pipe. I know there is nothing i can go about it. but i was just curios if this happens to other people too. I love my 2 into 1 pipe, I would never consider anything else for MX!!!

I think everyone burns their legs from time to time......I know my Fatty's get pretty darn hot after only a few laps.....

I don't think I feel the heat while riding ....never really noticed it....But I sometimes get home and realize I have a burn here or there.

It's part of it I guess

I wore a brand new pair of jeans riding one day. It wasnt serious riding, in fact I was only riding down the road to a neighbors house, not hot rodding or anything else. Anyway, my 300EX pipe gets real hot real quick, I am talking hot in a minute or two. When I got home I realized that I had burned a hole though the leg of the jeans. Boy was my mom pissed.

I have the LRD pipes on my 99 Banshee, and when I was testing them out I was only wearing shorts and running shoes. Well as I was going into I turn I leaned and my lower leg hit the pipe and gave me a nice little burn. Had a nice blister for a few days.

When I'm wearing my riding pants and boots I don't get burned at all.

I hear with the Paul Turner pipes you don't get that problem at all.

rhino99- What kind of goofball are you to say a 300ex will burn you while going down the road?IN the first place ,don`t go on streets! 2nd place, 300ex pipes are tucked inside the chassis enough to insure that they won`t scorch you while riding down the street(presumably while in the straight up position)!RIDE RESPONSIBLY 88TECATE-4 86TRI-Z250

Hola.....or whatever...

I thought you had a Moto-Fast...the Dynoports are somewhat higher in cost than the Moto-fast...I think I am going to go w/ the Moto-fast b/c I've heard that Dyno-Port copied the design from Moto-fast anyway. Plus it is cheaper. I could get a stainless steel version of the pipe for what a darn Nickel plate cost from DP. Is that what you got? The nickel plating? Or chrome?

You'll prolly be seein me w/ a new Moto-fast and runnin a nice LSR axel next race. Do you not like the Caddo-Point track? I love that track....MORE AIR! Well, talk to ya later man.
