Just bought a KFX 400 and want to put a pipe on it ASAP. There are so many types out there it is hard to make a descision. Would like to hear some different opinions from owners who have piped thier bikes

The best ones in the shootout were the ct racing pipe and the pro circuit,ct had more top end and the pro circuit more bottom end...they were both reasonably quiet to

 

Read the article in Dirt Wheels very cautiously they did not fine tune the jetting and just jetted to manufactures specs. (Some were way off) You can see that some of the dyno are wavy. You will need to do some homework to find out what works best for you. I think in the end if will just be user preference.

I have a wolverine with an FMF Megamax2 and if you would ask what the best pipe is every one will tell you it is the one they have on there bike because they want to feel like they have spent there money wisely. JMO [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

We just put the White Brothers E-series on buddies and it smoothed power throughout band. Made wheelies even easier (if that is possible). It also sounds and looks good and you can tune it toward your taste...

 

Love my White Brothers , but I might be changing to the ProCircuit , my friend was the editor of that shoot out in Dirtwheels

Did you friend say if some of the manufactures sent them the wrong info for jetting or that the jetting was way off on a few of the pipes?

 

Yoshimira best preformance in my opinion alot of cash for them

 

I did not get to get into to much detail about it , when he told me that they where doing exhaust tests on the Z's I asked him to send me the best rated pipe when he recieved all the reviews , I have'nt got it yet I am pretty sure it will be the pro circuit . I will ask about the jetting and start a new topic on it give me about a week , I will be talking with him this weekend
